A well-designed office is much more than just a pretty business card. It has a direct impact on employee productivity, atmosphere and satisfaction. An environment that inspires and feels like an extension of the company culture not only impresses customers and visitors, but also makes employees feel engaged and motivated. At Sprank, we ensure that each office design seamlessly matches the specific needs of our clients.
A thoughtfully designed office can help achieve a variety of goals, from improving communication and collaboration among teams to creating a pleasant atmosphere that reduces stress. Smart layout and design, for example, can reduce distractions, increase focus and contribute to a better work-life balance. In addition, adding flexible workspaces and relaxation areas can create more dynamism and a healthy work culture.
In this blog, we share five inspiring real-life examples of completed office design projects that show how we at Sprank bring the workplace to life.
Verus, the association for Catholic and Christian education in the Netherlands, asked us to design their new office in Woerden. The challenge was to make optimal use of the available space of two L-shaped floors while creating a pleasant working environment. By applying sloping glass walls and staggered glass facades, we created a dynamic and playful effect. The fresh colors of petrol, sea green and aqua blue give the space a clean look. With reused furniture and a unique bookcase as eye-catchers, the office feels personal and functional.
At the Municipality of Gorinchem, we completely renovated not the office but the council chamber, focusing on sustainability and technology. The space combines historical elements such as a rug with the city map and gold accents, with modern facilities such as an advanced audio and video system for live streaming. This allows residents to actively participate in council meetings, which perfectly meets the need for transparency and accessibility. The result is a contemporary space that does justice to the past and is ready for the future.
At Xtra Materieel, we transformed an old, dark sewing studio into a bright and open office space. A loft provides an abundance of natural light, contributing to a fresh and open atmosphere. This project demonstrates how strategic changes in office design, such as creating a void, can transform the entire work environment and increase productivity.
For the headquarters of Fresh ‘n Rebel in Rotterdam, we realized an interior design that perfectly matches the young, creative and rebellious identity of this lifestyle brand. We chose a mix of industrial and modern elements, combined with vibrant colors that reflect the brand. The open workspaces and cozy lounge areas not only promote collaboration, but also make a statement that matches the innovative nature of the company. This project is a great example of how office design can contribute to the brand experience and an inspiring work environment.
For MSC, we realized a design that perfectly combines luxury and functionality. The new office reflects both the tough and sophisticated side of this maritime company. By using warm colors and maritime details, such as an imposing world map in the entrance, we created a unique workplace that fits MSC’s international character. This project shows how office design can strengthen an organization’s identity while providing a pleasant workplace.
Office design, then, can be very versatile. Whether it’s sustainability, connectedness, or luxury – good design makes all the difference. Do you also have an office in need of a new look? Contact Sprank for a no-obligation consultation and find out what we can do for your office!
