Peinemann
Expert in machinery rental and integrated logistics solutions.
After acquiring a similar company, Peinemann decided to upgrade its location in Hoogvliet. The existing office was outdated, with many disjointed elements and a maze of partition walls. Time for a bold restyling that reflects both the image and ambitions of this family-owned business.
As part of a design and build project, we handled both the design and execution. We had previously completed a project for Peinemann at their Spanish Polder location.
For Hoogvliet, we carried that same look and feel through, ensuring a consistent identity across the various branches. Think steel-blue walls, orange accents from the logo, and robust steel frames that echo the world of machinery, forklifts, and harbour cranes.
By installing glass walls in steel frames, we created transparency without compromising the departments’ privacy. Acoustic performance was significantly improved with large black-and-white wall photos that tell Peinemann’s story while also serving as acoustic stretch frames.
We deliberately opted for smart and sustainable solutions. Instead of replacing everything, some fixed elements were preserved and refreshed. The reception desk was rewrapped, certain glass walls were fitted with film, and the staircase was updated with new treads and a fresh coat of lacquer. Throughout the building, LED lighting was installed, and materials were chosen for their durability, ease of maintenance, and suitability for a dynamic working environment.
By removing outdated layouts and adding glass walls, the office gained a modern, open look. The result: a pleasant workspace that’s not only functional, but also a true reflection of who Peinemann is.
